I got my miniature Miss Dior Chérie perfume today and its gorgeous! The tiny bottle is so exquisite and the scent is so girlish and delish! I’m not great with identifying scents but anyhow, here’s the description of it,

Miss Dior Cherie has top notes of green tangerine and strawberry leaves. The Heart notes of Miss Dior Cherie is violette, pink jasmine, carmelized popcorn, and strawberry sorbet. Base notes of fresh patchouli and crystalline musk.

Right, I don’t really know what that meant but all I know is it has a fresh floral fruity (I can’t decide) scent with a little girlish twist. I love it! Am contemplating getting the larger bottle when my miniature runs out.

Awww, what a gorgeous and charming commercial! Her dress is so lovely, the accompanying song is so quirky and what a plus the advert is to this charming scent!

Sometimes in our relentless effort to find the person we love, we fail to recognize and appreciate the people who love us. We miss out on so many beautiful things simply because we allow ourselves to be enslaved by our own selfish concerns.

Hello Kitty Mimmy

Should I or should I not? Mixed reviews over this one but apparently its lighter than most MAC lipglosses but I don’t want a super pigmented lipgloss neither do I want a colourless one. Hmm. I hope someone decides to do a swap with me so I don’t need to spend $$. & I realize I’ve been doing a whole lot of collage posts! Hopefully that’ll change soon but first, let’s get the tests over with!

Anyway, I just have to rant about how tired I am, thank goodness for my Touche Veloutee concealer that hid all my dark circles from last night’s party!

I swear, it is such a bother attending paries! The only plus was that I got to put on my new Luella Organza dress.

I will admit I was a little lazy last night with my makeup, just dabbed on some hues from the Bengali Palette by Chantecaille and left with a spritz of Chloe.

I almost forgot to bring the Dior baby shower gift! You know then one we shopped for the other time? Yeah, luckily I remembered to grab it before rushing into the limo waiting outside.

Oh the party was alright, almost had some wine spilled on my Zelig canvas shoulder bag! Imagine if I were carrying my white Jimmy Choo Maia calf hobo, it’d would’ve been stained all red!

Ugh, the weather is just so awful. Let me just get my makeup off with my Chantecaille Rose Eye Makeup remover and maybe later we could head down to the pool.

Oh? You didn’t bring your swim wear? Oh nevermind, I’ve got an extra. You should be able to fit into my La Perla Maija swimsuit!

We’re the same size anyway. Oh and do be a darling and remind me to grab my James Smith Pagoda brolly before we go. I’d hate to get sunburnt!

Am thinking of giving away a Miss Dior Cherie as a birthday gift or some what since I’ll be attending many 21st’s this year!

& incoming from my first MUA swap, Shu Uemura Pro Spot Concealer and two Annabelle eyeshadow throw ins! Perfect, since I’m looking for a gold but natural eyeshadow and a dark brown one.

Looks like the $100 worth of GST credits came in useful!!

Oil Cleansing Method

Yesterday, I attempted the OCM that has been highly raved by so many people. The basic principle is in using oil to dissolve dirt and other oil seeds, blackheads or impurities on the skin.

It does make sense really. Something like using thinner to remove paint instead of using water. Okay, bad analogy.

Anyhow, since I only had grapeseed oil (based on the reccomendation by Vivawoman) I used only grapeseed oil to cleanse my face.

Basically, it involves massaging the oil over your face for about 8-10mins and after that wiping it off with hot water and a towel and repeat it again if necessary.

I don’t really have problematic skin but it did feel quite soothing and comfortable to massage the oil into my face and wipe it off with warm water. I did not wash my face with a cleanser after this but instead used a witch hazel rose water toner and a cotton bud to swipe over my face. My face felt quite smooth, supple and most importantly clean.

Next, I attempted it on my boyfriend. Now, his skin is indeed quite problematic, think acne (when he was younger) and very large clogged pores. I massaged the oil onto his skin and true enough, oil seeds started coming off and I could feel it as I massaged his face. It was gross and thrilling at the same time!! After repeating the process again, quite a lot of his oil seeds were cleared. However, there were a few stubborn ones that remained but these were easy enough to pluck out with tweezers and so we did.

In my opinion, his skin did feel much softer and smoother than before. And I was so excited to try it out on him again! He is such a patient boyfriend yes? ;)

My only gripe about it is that it is time consuming and quite a hassle to wash the towels daily. However, it works! And I’ll be doing it weekly for myself and probably daily for my boyfriend.

According to Vivawoman, my FANCL Mild Cleansing Oil can be used for OCM too so I’m going to attempt it soon!
